1. Introduction of DFPsThe Diplomas in Professional French (DFP) are modern and practical certificates involving written and oral French skills in the diverse professional areas. There are eleven DFPs (DFP A2, B1, B2, DFP BUSINESS C1, C2, DFP Scientific and Technical B1, DFP tourism-hotel B1, DFP secretarial B1, B2, DFP law B2, DFP medical B2) which correspond all to specific levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Official organizer of the diploma, the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP), is the most prestigious commercial organization of France with 80% ~ 90% of French companies in the world among which more than 1,300 have settled in China. Candidates who pass the exam will receive an official diploma valid for life issued by the CCIP. The DFPs are widely recognized worldwide, particularly among French companies.
The DFPs are already well known in Europe and the United States. In collaboration with the entire network of French Alliances in China, the CCIP has decided to offer you the exclusive opportunity of obtaining the DFPs, the only French diplomas currently offered in China. The DFPs represent a real asset for all those who want to apply their ability in French in the French-speaking or even international professional community. From now on, you can register for the examination of DFPs and their corresponding preparation courses at the nearest Alliance Française. The first session will be held from 17th to 22th Octoberl 2010. 2. Types of DFPsThe Alliance Française of Shanghai proposes three diplomas in professional French: DFP A2 and B1, DFP Affaires B2 and C1, DFP Secretariat B2 that correspond respectively to level A2, B1, B2 and C1 of the CEFR. Other DFPs (tourism-hotel ...) will also be offered starting from 2010.
The DFP A2 requires candidates to have 300-400 hours of French learning and be able to understand and speak in the simplest and most common situations in the workplace. The DFP B1 requires candidates to have 500-600 hours of French learning and be able to achieve communicative and professional acts with a limited vocabulary in a known and defined context. The DFP Affaires B2 requires candidates to have 700-800 hours of French learning and have the ability to communicate in French in business situations and deal with according company business documents, the socio-economic context and professional communication. The DFP Secretariat B2 requires candidates to have 700-800 hours of French learning and have the ability to take their notes on their ownm to fill forms and to write professional documents related to their usual professional practice. The DFP Affaires C1 requires candidates to have 900-1000 hours of French learning and have the ability to communicate in French in business situations and deal with according company business documents, the socio-economic context and professional communication. 3. Exam InformationWritten exam schedule :DFP A2 : 16h-17h45 October 17th, 2010 DFP B1 : 16h-18h15 October 17th, 2010 DFP Secrétariat B2 : 16h-18h30 October 17th, 2010 DFP Affaires B2 : 16h-19h00 October 17th, 2010 DFP Affaires C1 : 16h-19h30 October 17th, 2010 Oral exam schedule : October 18th-22th, 2010 in the evening Location: 5/F, No.297 Wusong Road, Alliance Française of Shanghai-Hongkou Centre Exam Registration Candidates have to register by completing the registration form and provide full payment before September 9th, 2010 at the Hongkou Center of the French Alliance of Shanghai. Candidates can also download the registration form on the Internet and hand it in to the Hongkou Center of the Alliance Française of Shanghai. A photo and ID card are also required for registration. In case you do not wish to make the payment directly at our place, you can remit it to the account of the Alliance Française of Shanghai. Firstly, you should choose the DFP that you want and then you should leave your personal particulars to the personnel. Upon receival of the fee, the centre will inform you and ask you to send complete registration form by letter or by express to the Hongkou Center of the Alliance Française of Shanghai. Candidates are not allowed to withdraw from the examination or request refund after September 19th ,2010. The admission card will be sent to the candidates by email 3 weeks before the exam. |
