                                                            Registration: Concours of French Chanson *(2012-1-7 --- 2012-3-1)
                                                            20 years of history, 20 years of love: in celebration of its 20th anniversary, Alliance française of Shanghai is organizing a competition of French Chanson in 2012.
                                                            Each participant will have to pick up one song among 10 suggested by Alliance française of Shanghai.
                                                            For the final selection of the competitors, each candidate will have to interpret the song he chose along with the soundtrack on CD. For the final, the songs will have to be performed along with the live band “Mademoiselle et son orchestre”.
                                                             
                                                            This competition is exclusively open to the former and actual students of Alliance française of Shanghai.
                                                             
                                                            First Prize:
                                                            The winner of the competition will be invited to France on July 2012 where he will be a VIP guest to « Sud Concerts » at the music festival of « Voix du Gaou ».
                                                             
                                                            Calendar:
                                                            Registration process will be effective from January 2nd to 15th 2012 and from February 13th to 19th 2012.
                                                            The selection for the final will take place on March 17th and 18th at Alliance française of Shanghai.
                                                            The final itself is set for Saturday, April 28th 2012.

                                                            The Little Prince library welcomes French and non French speaking babies and toddlers, 9-36 months with one adult tutor. Join on weekday mornings for 1 workshop around pop-up books, songs and lullabies, crafts…
                                                            NEXT SESSION : 13th February through 13th April 2012 (9 workshops)
                                                            Let’s learn French by singing! Two fun music workshops on Monday afternoons, for babies and toddlers, starting from 6 months-old (up to 36 months-old).

                                                            Registration will be open from Monday 9 through Wednesday 18 January and from Monday 6 through Sunday 12 February. L'Alliance française de Shanghai invites you to discover France, the first exporter of cosmetics, throughout the history of its soaps and cleaning products. the perfumed soaps of Napoléon III from Marseille and the opening of drugstores which sell bio products. L'Alliance française de Shanghai also provides you chances to experience certain products your-self.

                                                            Olivier Tallec, a talented, versatile illustrator(2012-2-28)

                                                            Olivier Tallec was born in France in 1970. After attending the Ecole Supérieure d’Art Graphique art school in Paris, he worked as a graphic designer in advertising companies before devoting himself to illustration. He has since done numerous illustrations for newspapers and magazines (Le Monde, Libération, XXI) and has worked on more than fifty books for children.
