Some great french writers read themselves their articles and poetry(2 to 4 minutes)
"please answer the phone, french writer waiting for you," is an exhibition based on the idea of poet and author Marc Delouze. He has spent a lot of time to record these precious voice of famous french writers , reading aloude theirs works to the public. The exhibition is presented in the forms of 10 telephones, from which we can hear the voices of Nathalie Sarraute, Guillevic, Daniel Pennac, Robert Sabatier, Tahar Ben Jelloun, Nicolas Bouvier, Aimé Césaire, Léopold Sedar Senghor, Jacques Lacarrière and Michel Tournier. At the same time, there are ten bilingual display panels introducing the textes of the work and their biography.
As the father of this exhibition, Marc Delouze is invited to China by l'Alliance Française and will offer a performance of musical poetry in November 4, 2010.

Nowadays in France there exist still those we call ' unique classes'. All children are grouped around the only teacher in the village, whose age varying from the youngest to the middle school students. Some teachers are voluntary, while others take this job accidentally. For the first time, one of the most famous museums of the world was unveiled in front of a group of cinema: we took off the paintings, re-organize the rooms, the masterpieces moved... Little by little, people came before the camera, told us stories of the paintings. Kilometers of underground galleries, of stocks of thousand masterpieces, sculptures and objects, the forbidden area from the public.

A novel by Louise de Vilmorin(1951), a film by Max Ophüls(1953)
French novel and a presentation of the corresponding movie scenes, followed by a discussion and analysis of a director's choices when bringing a book to the screen, presented by Thierry Berthommier, professor at the Alliance Française and by Denis Bolusset-Li, actor, director and literary critic. This session will focus on "The earrings of Madame de...", a story happened in Paris of the late 19th century.

Génération Court
Génération Court is a program achieved by young directors from Aubervilliers. This program receive funding from OMJA, specialized agencies to train young directors and to show the real spirit of the France and the French younger generation. Invited by the world expo, many youth representatives come to Shanghai from France, with their carefully selected short movies. They invite you to come to Alliance Française for their presentation of their works and to exchange your opinions with them, in the atmosphere of the urbain music. A good opportunity to discover the France and its youth generation.
